Melinda Newman is a woman in pursuit of The Lord, through her love of studying God’s, word, teaching and leading worship. In June of 2005 Melinda was widowed when her husband Tim went home to be with the Lord. Melinda continued to raise her two boys Tyler and Jordan Mitchell and began living out her desire to be the woman of faith that she saw in the book of Ruth. Melinda met her “Boaz” pastor Ellis E. Newman and helped him plant “The River Community Church” in Natchitoches Louisiana. They married in 2008 and she continues to lead worship and pastor along side her husband ministering to their congregation. As God opens doors at various churches and conferences, Melinda shares God’s Word and her personal testimony to edify, equip and encourage the body of Christ.
